Who is responsible for the information

Joshua McNess Coaching & Hypnotherapy is responsible for information submitted through joshuamcness.com. The business is based in Perth, Western Australia.

What this website may collect

Depending on how you use the website, this may include:

• information you choose to include in a coaching application;
• your consent preferences;
• the calculated category, goals and support preferences from an assessment;
• basic technical information used for security, delivery and aggregate website measurement.

Please do not submit information you do not want Josh to receive. The website does not ask for payment-card details, government identifiers or medical records.

How the Self-Connection Assessment works

Your individual assessment answers and progress are saved in your browser on your device so you can pause, go back or return later. They are used in your browser to calculate your result. They are not included in the lead email sent to Josh.

If you choose to request your complete profile, the website sends your contact details, consent choices and calculated result segments to Josh. This allows the result to be emailed to you and helps Josh provide follow-up that matches the preferences you selected. Saved assessment progress can be cleared using the link at the end of the result or through your browser settings.

Why the information is used

Information submitted through the website may be used to:

• generate and send a requested assessment profile;
• review and respond to a coaching application or enquiry;
• personalise relevant guidance when you have requested it;
• send occasional marketing only where the appropriate consent has been given;
• protect forms from spam, abuse and security threats;
• understand aggregate website performance without placing names, emails or raw assessment answers into general analytics.

Services that help operate the website

The website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Form emails are delivered using Amazon Web Services Simple Email Service. These providers process limited information as needed to deliver, secure and operate the website. A trusted technical administrator may also assist with website operation and form delivery.

Information is not sold. It is not shared for unrelated advertising and should only be disclosed where needed to operate the service, respond to your request, meet a legal obligation or protect the website and its users.

Email choices

An assessment result is sent because you request it. Separate optional consent is used for occasional information about the community, coaching and related resources. You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in an email or by contacting Josh. Service messages that you specifically request may still be sent.

How long information is kept

Submitted information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, provide requested follow-up, maintain necessary business records and meet legal or security obligations. You may ask for information to be deleted, although some records may need to be retained where required by law or for a legitimate record-keeping purpose.

Your choices and questions

You can ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction, withdraw marketing consent or ask for deletion by emailing joshua@joshuamcness.com. Josh may need enough information to confirm that the request relates to you.
